IDA is looking for a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our amazing team at Market Mall.
Responsibilities
Receive and transcribe verbal prescriptions from practitioners
Ensure that a prescription is complete and authentic
Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies
Prepare and process prescriptions by performing duties such as entering orders, counting, measuring, compounding, packaging, or repackaging medications
Perform the final check of a prepared prescription
Ensure the accuracy of drug and personal health information in patient records, while maintaining patient confidentiality and following legal/regulatory conditions
Oversee Pharmacy Assistants to ensure efficient and safe prescription filling
Qualifications & Skills
Licensed and in good standing with College of Pharmacists of Ontario
Above average oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as with a team
Excellent customer service skills
Education and Experience:
Licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
Certificate of Injection for Drug Administration
