1993 – 2025
With heartfelt sorrow, the family announces the tragic passing of Gage, on Monday, May 19, 2025 as the result of a car accident in Goulais River at the age of 31, with his fur baby sidekick Hazel.
Most loved and adored son of Tanya Franz and David Pollari (stepdad). The most amazing mentor and fun-loving big brother of Kailen, Liam, Maizley and Gabe. Grandson of Ann Franz, Bill and Lennie Franz, Mikko and Marjo Pollari. Nephew of Tyson Franz (Tanya), Natasha Franz and Jessica Pollari. Cousin of Sarah and Calyssa Franz, Ryley, Evan and Zac Nadon.
Gage had a family that went beyond kin which included his long running, supportive and protective “brothers” Jesse, Darcy and Ben. Gage was surrounded by friends and “brothers” that meant so much to him and was also known as “Uncle Gage” to those who had children. Gage was an “adopted grandson” to Jim and Laura, who he adored.
How do you wrap up 31 years of wonderful and put it into words? We could fill thousands of pages with stories filled with love and excitement. There is no simple description besides if you knew him “Gage was Gage” which most will understand. Gage was awesome, amazing, playful, fearless, fun, resilient, appreciative, spontaneous, humorous, charismatic, smart, hardworking, patient, adventurous, entertaining, competitive, artistic, inquisitive, easy going, unique, kind and passionate.
Gage owned and operated ARHQ Tree Services and was well known for his expertise.
If you were a part of Gage's short lived life you were a part of him. Typically, there was a story to be told, or a compliment made if you were fortunate enough to have crossed paths.
A celebration in Gage’s honour will be announced at a later date and will include a “Gage style” bonfire that lights up the night sky.
